These two images are part of a video short based on self-portraiture, perhaps to be part of a longer project at some point. The past six months have provided a couple of those "hinge" moments in life, where foundations and assumptions get turned in unexpected directions. The first image is from May, when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It shows part of a PET scan to see if the cancer had spread (it hadn't), while the second image shows my first grandson's hand in mine shortly after his arrival in September. Hinges in life.
