As a student of photography I began shooting self portraits early on, finding opportunities in many photographic assingments. As I moved from film to digital I continued to shoot and look for the iconic self portrait images, made much like (Lee Friedlander: Mirror of Myself, 1965) and (Andre' Kerte'sz: Self Portrait in Shadow, 1926). I have yet to shoot to their iconic caliber but continuously search to capture an image of similar distinction. As I continue to find images in old abandon farm houses, ghost towns and in an old theater, I move in that direction. These photos capture reflections in mirrors revealing a time and place of surroundings in my history of travel.

Scratches in the Reflection (Shower Mirror)
The Theater Looking Glass
I find the first 2 to be the strongest and they work together I would leave that third portrait out of it. It doesn't work with it. ... Though it's a nice portrait by itself
I like them all, especially the first and last one.
