Usually I don’t plan my self-portraits and make them when certain force comes, just capturing emotional state in the moment.
I guess, in this case, I was feeling melancholic and hid my face behind bird wing feathers as a symbol of freedom and distant observation, using double exposure technique.

I see the image as one of a veiled presence leading the viewer to ask questions and posit answers. The tonal quality is excellent with light and dark moving the viewer to explore the whole image. Well done!
