My first photo workshop was with Ansel Adams and Yousuf Karsh

Being the only female in my first photography workshop I got a lot of attention including fun times with Ansel in his home in Yosemite. Such a sweet man! Yousef was also warm hearted and taught portrait photography. We even corresponded after the workshop ended. Remember we're talking about them teaching with 8 X 10 cameras. I think it was late 70's. I knew that wasn't the camera for me, so my love of photography was more about taking photos on the streets.
