Nice intimate portrait... feels like you've captured her soul, and that's great! There is one thing that I want you to really contemplate about this Portrait. You have to think about what I'm going to say because most people will only see a beautiful well lit portrait. In my eyes the mood of the lighting should be commensurate the feeling, and the intimacy of the portrait that you captured. So what I'm saying, I feel it's too overlit, bring the exposure down and make the light more directional.
Just to the right over my shoulder was a strobe with a 24" beauty dish and to the right of me was a another strobe at 2 steps less of the other strobe. This strobe was at about a 75 degree angle of me and pointed downward to the model. Reading what you said makes sense to capture the mood with the light and not create a portait. I should have left the second strobe off to creat more shadows. Maybe use a grid instead of a beauty dish.
