The old Hotel Figueroa was famous for its very unique suites, each of which was themed in a funky way. I wanted to capture some of these with my friend, Jillian. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we couldn't start shooting until after dark, so I used the Casablanca suite lights as my only light source. Jillian was a champ at holding poses long enough to capture a longer exposure time pose.
Shot with my Nikon D750, which was known for its low-light capabilities and the trusty 24-70 f/2.8
Lighting works well in this series and red tones set the mood. Sorry to hear about the death of the beatiful model.
Beautifully done in the warmth of the lighting and environment certainly add to it!
...Did she pass away?
Beautiful images. Jillian was a wonderful person. RIP my friend.
