The story behind this photo was for this assignment. I had traveled to Cheboygan, MI to visit my sister. We along with my girlfriend stopped in Mackinaw City along the shore. I want to take a photo of the bridge with the shoreline. With my girlfriend being along the shoreline I thought of the example images displayed. I thought, hey, I can add her as a 'matter of fact' since the subject was the bridge with Mackinac Island.
RUSS, without specifically commenting on this image, other than what I could say on a positive note about the emptiness of it, the graphics of the horizontal lines / composition. I feel that you have the ability to create a stronger image specifically shot for this assignment. You have time to create something special, I feel you should take advantage of the time, and what your potential could be, and create an image, you could really be proud and excited about. We want to get the best out of you! Use the examples that I have for the assignment as a possible source of ideas or inspiration.
