12. Working with Galleries & Museums
This is one of the most important yet mystifying sections because to work with Galleries and Museums you have to deal with many people, and what can be complex financial relationships with them.
I have had many varieties of these relationships and I will explain what I think are the best practices based on my decades of experience.
c. Created Limited Editions:
Since I began my print editions I had to go through some trial and error and learn the ropes. It's all about balancing some critical factors, which include: 1) locking in the sizes I offer; 2) the perceived rarity by getting the edition number 'right'; and 3) the prices escalate as the editions deplete.
I go over these important facets making editioned prints, as well as some other tips I've learned along the way.
